​​​​Stocked Up on School Supplies​

So far, $143.40 of your generous donations has been used to buy medical and cooking equipment for the school.

 

In December 2011 when Bonnie last visited the school, she filled up their cabinet with much needed medical supplies. When we returned this year their stock was running low, so thanks to all the donations we have now refilled the medical cabinet.

 

The school has now begun cooking for the children every Thursday. One of the teachers had been managing to cook for the entire school using only one stove. Additionally, there were not enough bowls and spoons for the children, so half of them had to wait until the others were finished eating. So along with the kind contribution from volunteers Jo and Ty, and donations through Build Bonnie’s Dream, we have been able to supply them with another stove cooker, a chopping board, 70 bowls and spoons, and a large pot.

 

Although this site is primarily aimed at raising funds to build the classrooms, Bonnie had always helped the school with supplying necessities, and Build Bonnie’s Dream will do the same.

 

The teachers and children are thankful to have known Bonnie, and that her kindness carries on with Build Bonnie’s Dream through the people she inspired.
