Moruya High School ​​Fundraiser

Ex-student and close friend of Bonnie Whitehead, Jacob Wray spoke wonderfully at the assembly about Bonnie’s experiences at Moruya High, her involvement with the Cambodian orphanage and her aspirations for the future.



 

 

On the day the prefects sold cakes and slices at recess. At lunch time, an assortment of delicious international foods were on offer, including fresh spring rolls, san Choy bow, dim sims, hot spuds, sausages and amazing desserts. The Environment Group held a huge second-hand clothes stall, and it was also a mufti day and students wore various colours of the Cambodian flag colours red, white and blue. A Performance Assembly was also held on the day with the talent of music students shining through.

Thanks to Woolworths, Southlands and Moorings IGA Tomakin for generously providing food for the Cambodian fundraiser.

A big thank you must go out to Mr Dent, Mrs Hanigan, Mrs Holden, the hospitality students and the Environment group.


Thanks also to all the students and staff that supported the day so generously, it was a great day that was enjoyed by all.
A gold coin donation was given by students and on the day they raised an incredible
